Kits

A kit is a collection of product and/or service codes, each with a quantity (but no price or discount information). For example, you can create a kit for a hi-fi system, consisting of a CD player, radio tuner, cassette player, amplifier, and two speakers.

You use kits to quickly insert their contents into customer documents, such as quotations or orders, rather than individually inserting each of the kits' components. When you insert a kit, the software uses the price and discount information that is in use for the customer and products/services at the time of the insertion.
